New Bedford Whaler
These boats were built from 1720 to 1920. During that time over 7500 were built. Later in time some of these boats were used as life saving boats along the beaches. Model is 31 inches long. The original boats were 26' to 28'. They were used to sail back to the mother ship. In the photo you will see the shell of a boat, that is the beginning of construction.
